Health Programs Transition to
Medi-Cal on January 1, 2014
The Low Income Health Programs (LIHPs) in
Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties will be ending
on December 31, 2013, with all eligible members
transitioning to Medi-Cal administered by the
Alliance. These programs include MediCruz
Advantage and ViaCare Monterey County.
Members will be assigned to their existing PCPs.
Once these members transition, they may choose
to access the full Medi-Cal network of providers.
